Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) dalam model pembelajaran saintifik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) berbasis model Kemmis dan McTaggart, dengan dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan skor berpikir kritis dari 52,40% (rendah) menjadi 84,50% (tinggi). Pendekatan TaRL dalam pembelajaran saintifik terbukti efektif, terutama dalam mengembangkan keterampilan menalar dan mengomunikasikan hasil pembelajaran.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach in a scientific learning model on improving students' critical thinking skills in human digestive system material. The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, with two cycles. The results showed an increase in critical thinking scores from 52.40% (low) to 84.50% (high). The TaRL approach in scientific learning proved effective in improving critical thinking skills, especially in reasoning and communicating learning outcomes.
